Livingstone's Adventure
Livingstone Adventures and the Royal Livingstone did everything they could to make sure we were able to make the cruise despite a late arrival and subsequent tight time frame. And we were so glad we did, albeit straight off the plane and straight out was tough, but it was so worth it!! We had a magical experience with the captain, it all felt so very personal and special. The service and conversation throughout was interesting and very laid back, our personal server alongside the captain ensured our glasses were full and we were well fed throughout. And the cruise itself with the sunset was simply spectacular. Would recommend the cruise and in particular the captains table, in my opinion worth that little bit extra. - Adrian
The African Queen Cruise was a nice experience with good food and wine. It was a beautiful evening and we saw many animals in the water and on the shore. The staff was very personable and knowledgeable. One downside is that we waited for at least 1/2 hour on the boat for rest of the passengers to arrive. While we were enjoying wine, it was warm just sitting there. Since we left late, we were also returned late. The second is that the view at the top in the captain's cabin wasn't as good as the view on the lower deck. - Natalie
aking a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River with African Queen Cruise was an unforgettable experience. We were picked up by the charming Captain Paul and taken to the Captain's Cabin---a private front-deck cabin with panoramic views, comfy seating, and a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowd. With unlimited drinks, generous snacks, and a front-row seat to spot wildlife like hippos and crocodiles, the whole experience felt like a dream. The sunset over the river was absolutely breathtaking, one of those moments you never forget. Our stowaway, Paddington Bear, also had a wonderful time! No marmalade sandwiches on board, but he said it was very nice all the same. It was the perfect way to soak in the magic of the Zambezi. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something truly special. - Paddington
The African Queen Cruise was one of the highlights or our stay in the region. Our group of five highly recommends the Captain's Cabin. The Captain and the mate took great care of us with refreshments and small bites. Also was able to get the heads up when animals such as Elephants, Hippos, Crocs, Birds and etc were coming up. It was quaint and relaxing and we didn't have to cram with other guest to get a great view of what was going on. Just an all around great experience. - Jon
Had a very good trip and service was amazing. Five stars - Martin
