Activity Description

After an exciting days rafting, the steep climb out of the deep Gorge is a strenuous one for White Water Rafters finishes at Rapid #10. The fantastic cost saving rafting, helicopter combos save rafters an exhausting walk and provide an exhilarating ascent out of the Gorge over the Victoria Falls and back to Batoka Sky, or to the lodges further upstream.

WhenDuring the Low Water Season - August to December (depending on water levels).

WhereVisitors will be collected at the helicopter landing pad at Rapid #10. After the scenic flight, the helicopter lands at Batoka Sky Maramba Aerodrome.

WeatherShould there be thunderstorms or heavy rainfall, the flight may be delayed.

Things to Bring Dry clothing to change into after rafting.

Guests or SpectatorsVisitors not doing the rafting Gorge lift-out are welcome to browse the curio shop at Batoka Sky, or purchase refreshments while waiting for the flight to land.

InclusionsOn landing at Batoka Sky Maramba Aerodrome, a road transfer to local accommodation venues in the Livingstone area and the Zambian border is provided.

ExclusionsVideo footage of the flight is available for purchase. Please note this must be organised beforehand.

The Helicopter Gorge Rafting Lift Out Flight takes approx 12 – 15 Minutes.
