Customer Reviews

We had a great day canoeing as a family. The guides were excellent and the lunch was fantastic. - Jon

Great day canoeing on the Zambezi with friendly and knowledgeable guides. - Rebecca

Amazing day on the Zambezi River! Everything was perfect: the organization of the day, the transfers, food, drinks and last but not least the guides and driver were fantastic! - Filippo

Thank you very much for an absolutely wonderful day on the mighty Zambezi river. We had an amazing and on occasion exhilarating time as we will not forget being challenged by a hippo running down the bank and into the river to make sure we stayed away from his turf. Our guides Matthew and Prof? (forgive me for not getting your name correct) took excellent care of us all day. We were also very well fed, and appreciated the cold beer at the end of our journey - nice touch! We saw plenty of wildlife, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and numerous birds. This was a very unique way to safari and we enjoyed the easy paddle down the river in very comfortable canoes. We would recommend this trip to anyone - if we 4 old learner paddlers (we in late 50's & early 60's) could do it and enjoy it, anyone can. Give it a go, you won't regret it. - Sandra

We had a fantastic time canoeing the Zambezi. Our guides were top-notch and clearly experienced, steering us around hippos while pointing out and explaining plants and wildlife. They also handled an unpleasant guest well and ensured that the rest of us still had fun despite him. We were lucky enough to see an Elephant, a few hippos, a crocodile, and numerous birds. Lunch was tasty and the transport to and from the river was on time and reasonably comfortable. It is worth mentioning that the canoes are actually kayaks, with double-paddles. They were sturdy and easy to handle. - Brigitte
